The Hutton Settlement needed an addition to accommodate its administrative staff and help better support the organization. A key priority on this project was to ensure the new addition complemented the character and architectural features of the original building, which was constructed in 1919. DIVCON achieved this by using concrete tilt up panels with thin brick inlay to match the existing brick. The entry arch was constructed with integrally colored concrete, carefully selected to complement the historic stonework of the original building. By identifying the right approach, DIVCON delivered a solution that reduced cost, accelerating the schedule, and preserved the historic character of the campus.
